Random Mankato

Mankato trip, at last. Detour made it confusing to find our direction there and a bit of a burble involving Fury Girl's keys, but, wow, lots of anime stuff. Every dang store. I had a bit of a shopping uber.

Twelve Kingdoms Volume Ten. The last one. The first one that I've watched. I figure if the rousing finale rocks, the rest is worth a watch.

Otogi Zoshi Volume One. 'Key', a reviewer, on Anime News Network, usually rocks, and he? thought it cool, and it has a hezmana lot of extras, so it's worth a shot.
Otogi Zoshi is Heian Period samurai history stuff by Production IG. Standalone Complex. Mmmm. Production IG / Standalone Complex = Gonzo / Vandread. I figure, if nothing else, they look freaking cool.

Furies of Calderon. Jim Butcher. If Codex Alera is as cool as the Dresden Files, no need to explain more.

Runaways and Nightcrawler from the comic book shop. I figure I may as well buy something from them as I always wander in and see what they have. :)

And a present for Dad. I've heard roxing things about the author from the A Miracle of Science creators, and there's nothing written by him in the local library. It's worth a shot. :)
